The Richard Mille RM 07-01 Automatic Winding features a variable-inertia rotor integrated into calibre CRMA2. The rotor can be adjusted to suit the owner’s activity level by positioning two weights and securing them with spline screws. Bringing the weights closer together increases inertia and allows the barrel to rewind more quickly; positioning them toward the rotor extremities reduces inertia for slower winding. The result is a considered balance between movement efficiency and everyday wearability.
